H1 transfer without paystub

Hi,

I am working for Company A on a L1-B visa. I applied for H1 B visa through a consultant(Company B) and it got approved in June 2008 and I am eligible to work on my H1 visa from Oct 1 2008. I would like to know if it is possible to transfer the H1 B visa from Company B to Company A and retain my employment with Company A. I do no thave any paystubs from Company B since I have not worked for them. I , however, have my paystubs from Company A.

Please let me know if this can be done.
