  • H1B to L1B Conversion

My current visa is H1B and is valid till 3rd may 2009 .

I applied for L1B individual conversion and got the RFE query whose last date is Sep 1.

    My doubts:
    1. Assume i am submitting the rfe query docs and if my L1B individual petition is denied, what will happen to my current visa - H1B? Will it be still valid ?

    2. If my petition is approved and in visa stamping intreview, if i was not stampped L1B individual, what will happen to my current visa -H1b? Will it be still valid ?

    3. If i am withdrawing my petition what will happen to my current visa , Will it be still valid ?

Plz help me out to know these answers.

    Thanks,
    Balaji Sailanathan

    1. yes
    2. Yes unless the VO cancels the H1b visa stamp as both are work visas. Generally, they cancel only if the other visa is granted.
    3. Yes
