Travel to US on B1 while H1B is pending

Hello,

I have a valid B1 Visa from a company. My H1b is been filed by a different company (my future company). My current employer wants to send me on a B1 Visa for a period of 3 months from now till October. Can i travel to USA on a B1 visa while my H1 is in process. My H1B case has been picked up in the lottery and current status is pending approval.

Only difference is H1B is approved but stamping is not done.
Can I apply for B1 and travel to US. After comming back, it is fine to go for stamping H1B?
