about h4 visa

My husbend is now working in US from 3weeks (H! B visa).
and now i want to apply for h4 visa.
I am having all the documents (which are required for h4) with me.But i dont have last 6 months pay slips.
Is that compulsary for visa stamping?

Here is my personal experience.

I think 2 months pay stubs are well enough to show to consular officer.
When my wife went for H4 visa interview, consular officer asked for recent 2 pay stubs and our marriage certificate.
