Time for GC filing ?

Folks,

My employer is a very big company, but still Desi. They are ready to file my GC and they tell me that, they tell that labour will take 9 mths.
I-140 will take approx 1 year and then I-485. will take 2 years.
I am not able to trust this company.
Can some one please tell me, is this proper time duration for GC?
Also, can someone please point me to some link, which will make things clear to me in terms of process and time duration?

... are partly correct. The first postion is, but not the last. It won't happen so quickly, it'll be much more.
