No one can tell. Anywhere between 2-6 months or more.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

But Senior, If I do H1B Stamping in India (now I am working for L1 visa),
I can work whenever I come to US right?
And then what abt COS ? no need of this. I can work from Day 1 in US if I get a job?

I believe a person have both h1 and L1 visas. COS or port of entry will determine on which VISA you are in.

If you have entered US on L1B at the port of entry, you should work only for L1B employer. and vice versa.

At any stage, if you want to work for H1B employer, employer should apply for COS (change of status). (vice versa)

seniors correct me if I am wrong.
