  • H1B Stamping-question

    Hi,

For H1B stamping do I need take entire copy of H1B petition doc(50 page doc in my case) or just the I-129 along with LCA. along with other supporting docs

US consulate, chennai web site says one has to bring " The complete I-129 petition submitted by your prospective employer including the Labor Condition Application "

pardon my ignorance if this is a silly question.

    Thanks

Take the entire 50 page package if it is not too much of a trouble.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

      What if ..

... the entire package is too heavy to carry. What needs to be done then?

Can AMCON be requested to allow for a few pages only?

          Great ...

... then it's in your best interests to carry the entire bunch. Who know you may be asked to produce all or none.

          Good luck to you.

            I-797 B and I-797 C ?

            txh1b,

My employer sent me I-797 B and I-797 C original docs and He is having copies of both docs for his records.

should my employer retain I-797 C original doc for his records?

can I carry both docs for my H1 B Interview?

            Thanks
