My wife's H4 visa extension is in process....need to change employer

Hi,

I have received my visa extension till Oct 2010. My wife's H4 visa is expiring in Sep 08 & her visa extension is in process, but now I need to change the employer as I have got very good offer & company wants me to join in mid Sep 08....what should I do as I do not want her to go out of stauts?

1) Should I wait till I get visa extension for my wife before joining the new employer?
2) My new employer can file for my visa transfer & extension for my wife's visa?

H4 is not dependent on the company. You can join new company and have them also file for the H4 extension if you are worried that the previous employer will withdraw the petitions.
