I completed my masters in U.S and I am working for a company(say A) on OPT. But my H1 was sponsored by a different company(say B). Now my current employer i.e A is asking me to work for him until the end of october (so I will be receiving from pay stubs from his company) and join B in november. He is saying that I wont be facing any problem in future. Is this safe? If I do so will I face any problems during H1B stamping. I am planning to go for stamping in January.

If you filed for H1B as a COS and have an I-94 with an Oct 1 start date for the H1B, you MUST work for your H1B employer beginning on that date.
This must be the case or you would not be planning a Jan stamping.
I believe if you follow your OPT employer's advice, you will be out of status and will have problems in the future.
