    H1B Transfer

    Hi,

    I have H1b VISA till 2010 through company A .I am leaving to India next month (Sep 2008) and planning to transfer my H1b to company B.

    Is it possible to apply for H1B transfer from India or its mandatory to apply for transfer before leaving US.

    It is better that you return back from travel and have the transfer filed based on your new I-94 to avoid complicating the case.

        Looks like you got it wrong. Come back from your trip into US and then file for transfer.
