  • End of H1-B term & visa stamping question

The end of the 6 year term for my H1-B is Jun'09.

H1-B on my passport is expired and i need to visit the consulate for the stamping for the remainder of my H1-B during my india visit later this year.

I have applied for PERM with no approval yet.

    My questions are:
    1. Is there a possibility of the VO asking me if i have applied for the Green Card. If so, what should i tell? 'Yes' or 'No'?

    2. Will the VO have the information if an H1-B applicant have applied for a green card?

    3. What are the chances of my H1-B stamping getting into trouble in case that the VO comes to know of my Green card processing?

    I am worried. Please advise.

    Thanks

Applied for GC or not does not matter, H1 is a dual intent visa.
