Reentry with short visa validity

My wife is on H4 visa and I filed for her extension along with my H1- the case is still pending. My wife is in India right now and needs to travel to US immediately but her visa expires in 3 weeks. I wanted to know
if the short validity period of visa is going to pose any problem, especially at the port of entry.
