staying for long time in India without travelling to US even after H1b stamped

Hi,
I got H1b visa stamped in June 2007.My H1B actually expires in September 2009. I didn't travel to US even once. I am still in India.

(As the job market is dull in US, my employer is not able to find me the project. So i have planned to go in January 2009. )

Please answer me these questions:

1) If I go to US in January 2009, will there be any problem in H1b renewal/ extension. ? can i get another 3 years extension?

2) What kind of problem i will face at port of entry, as i go to US after long time visa stamped? how to overcome it?

you need almost all necessary documents that u carried along with you when u went to consulate. ( still i need more details on it)

In case , if I am going to enter US in last 3 months of the period, Is renewal/extension still possible for me?

I heard that I should stay in US atleast for 6 months to get the extension of
H1b.. Is that true?

What are you trying to do? You need not be in US to get an extension and can be done outside the US. No 6 month rule.

As i am gonna enter for the first time , (that too in last 4 months before expiration), Will there be any problem in renewing the H1b?...
