Hi Guys -
First off i really appreciate the time from senior members such as txh1b , orion in responding to my/others thread.
I have a family friend who is travelling first time on H1B from Chennai. His company is based out in East Brunswick,NJ.
I am based out from Fort Lauderdale , FL and this friend would like to have Miami as his POE - Port of Entry for coming in to USA. Reason is , he would like to stay with me for a couple of days before he reports to his company in NJ.
Will there be any POE issues for using Miami as POE ? Will the VO at POE ask him why he is travelling Miami and not NY/Newark ?
