Travelling outside US after appling for extension

Hi,

I have applied for H1B extension and my docuemnts got filed with USICS recently. Can i travel to India in another one month?. Will this travel affect my extension?

Please help me out.

It is not recommended but can be done and will result in complications regarding your final I-94.
