Wrong visa status on I 94

Hi,
At port of entry, the official wrongly mentioned as H4 on I 94 whereas it should be H1. What is the process to get it changed.

Do you have both stampings? If so it may be more difficult to demonstrate the mistake. Obviously if you have no H4 stamping the H4 I-94 is an error. Return to the office at the airport is likely the easiest if you are not far from your POE.

Go back to POE deferred inspection office of the CBP and get it fixed. It is very important that you do so immediately.
