Question on I-94 return while going back to India

My wife came to U.S.A in July 2007 on H4B and she got the I-94 valid till 30th Sep 2008 as per her H4 petition validity (30th Sep 2008). She has got her new petiton (extension) valid till 22nd Oct 2010 along with my petition. She is planning to go to India on vacation this month. Now, she has two I-94's (one is on her passport with validity 30th Sep 2008 and the other one is on her new petition (Right lower half part) with validity 22nd Oct 2010). I think she needs to surrender these two I-94's to concern people while going to back to India. Please let me know if I am correct.

Take some time and read the approval notice. It clearly says detach the I-94 and staple it to the white I-94 (which has the same number).
