URGENT: Can a employer cancel a H4 visa

Hi

I have transferred my H1B visa from employer A to employer B. My wife and kid have H4 visas with employer A in the visa stamp.They are in India and planning to come to US in 2 weeks. Can "employer A" cancel their H4 visas? Please let me know.

Also "employer A" told me that he has already sent a letter to INS regarding H4 cancellation and that has scared me.

H4 has got nothing to do with the employer. Furthermore, employer cannot do anything with anyones visa.

As long as you are on the H1b status, H4 can enter on existing visa and new approval notice from new employer or old approval and receipt from new employer.
