*** needed regarding I94

Hi,


I changed my status to H4 to H1.
I got I797A form.In that only Reciept number is printed.I94 number was not printed which I got on H4.

Which form I have to submit to include I94 in my I797A form?

I am planning to go to India in Jnauary.Is there will be any problem if I94 is not there in I797A form?

Please advice

Hi,

Yes,Visa extended upto 09/27/2010.

Yes there is a I94 departure record attached.But I94 is not printed in that.Only reciept number is printed on that

I am not able to visualize your problem. The I-94 is the bottom half right hand corner and has the same number as your current I-94.

It does not look like the one that you get from the airport.

I got the I94 departure record at the right hand corner.It has blank I94 on the departure record.
When applying for the change of status from H4 to H1,my employer mentioned my I-94 number which I got from the airport in I-129 petition.But they not printed that I94 number in I94 departure record of I797A form.

I applied for SSN and the SSN was also recieved.[Here also first i went to SSN offive to apply for SSN.They refused to take SSN application stating that my I94 was not there on I797A form.they told to apply for INS for correction of I797A.
Same day I went to another SSN office and submiited papers for SSN.They accepted the application and I recieved the SSN.]
