Urgent Help Needed

My H1B petition approved this summer, I am in India working for another employer. I asked my new employer in US for the documents so that I can get the Visa from US Embassy, the company in US said due to economic slow down I have to wait till next year.

What my options are to get Visa and start working in US.

Find another employer willing to sponsor and that has a job for you and transfer the H1b, go for the visa once approved and come.

Trust me, you are better off there given the current market situation in US.

Your employer has no work for you. He can fire you and terminate your H1B. Listen to him. He wants to have you work because that is how he makes money; no reasonable employer would leave you in your home country if he could place you.
