Wrong SSN while filling application for H1 Transfer

Hi Experts,
My new employer is in processing of filing H1B transfer, they have sent the set of documents to USCIS and also a copy to me. Unfortunately while checking the documents, i realised that i had given the wrong the social security number. The documents have already been submitted to USCIS.
I am really scared at this point of time, i dont know what to do and what's the consequences. Since the Social security number is an optional field, should i just ignore it or need to taken some action. Could somebody tell me, if there is a problem, or if there are chances of rejecting the transfer and how do i correct the SSN.

---- Send an amendment letter through an attorney, quouting all the reference numbers for your application. If you have already received a receipt quote that also and attach a copy. Nothing much will happen as it is an optional matter. But if USCIS choses to review the application against a SSN, they may send an RFE, Otherwise there should not be any issue
