  • H1b Stamping - Current Employer experience letter

    Hi,

I am working in Singapore a a software consultant and i am planning to go for H1B Stamping in chennai embassy this december-2008.
This is my first H1B Stamping and earlier i had L1B with my previous employer
and i was there in US for 6 months.
My current employer in singapore is not willing to give experience letter even i am working in company.
I have the offer letter,Pay Stubs, and my SIngapore Employment pas with employer name and details on it.

Are these sufficient for stamping or experience letter from current employer is mandatory.I will be carrying ID card also .

Please kindly suggest the best way to proceed.

    Thanks.

Take anything to everything to prove your employment. Like offer letter, pay stubs, tax returns, visa, print out of your name from thjeir corporate intranet search page etc.

If the VO asks, tell them your company is not providing one to prevent attrition.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
I have all the supporting docs which you have mentioned
Is it ok, or will they ask for indepth docs about current employer?
