Regaridng H4 t o H1 I94

Hi,

I came to US on H4.
I appled for H1 in April 2008
I got H1 approval and recieved I797A form with blank I-94.
My H4 I -94 expired on Oct 8,2008.
Right now I got my SSN and I am searching for the job.

My Question is

What is my status now?

Is there will be any problem If I-94 is not there on I-797A.

If it is a problem what steps I have to take

How can I correct the I94 in I797A form.

Whether they will ask any payslips If I applied for ammendment to include I94 in I797A

If your H1 was applied with a COS and you got a blank I-94 (as a result of an error), your status might be H1.

If your H1 was approved but the COS was not approved, you are unlawfully present if your H4 I-94 expired and you did not take any action.

Take an infopass appointment at a local USCIS office and correct the error (if applocable). They will be able to tell you your current status.

My employer applied with Requested Action in I-129 petition
"Change the person(s) status and extend their stay since the person(s) are all now in the US in another status

If my H1 applied with a COS ,How can i correct the I94 in I797A form
Is there willbe any problem if H1 not printed on I797A.
