H1B Extension (valid till Sep 2009), Can I got for extension stamping in Mar / Apr'09

Hi,

Initially I got H1B from employer A valid till sept 2009 (Visa and I 94 valid till sep 2009), and in Sep 2008 I changed my employer to B. My family is not having H4.

I am planning to go to India in Feb/Mar'09, Can me and my family go for H1 extension and H4 visa at the same time in Feb / March'09 (6 months earlier to my Visa validity) ?
