Travel to US on H4 visa

Hello All,

I am in USA from 3 months on H1B. My wife & son are travelling to USA on H4 visa.

My question is:

1. what are the documents they have to carry while travelling other than their passports with valid H4 visa?

2. does my wife requires to carry My son's original birth certificate?

1. Proof that you are employed is good to have like a recent pay stub.
2. Does he not have a passport? Carry it, it will not hurt. It is just a paper anyway.
