H4 Visa while i am in USA on an expired Visa

Hi,
I am in US on H1B and my US Visa has expired more than a year back. My wife went to India. Can she go for an Visa interview even though my US Visa has expired.

Any input is of great help for me.

Hi,

Make sure that she has the following documents apart from the list given in immihelp:
(1) Ur Latest I-797
(2) Photocopy of ur extended I-94
(3) I-129 , LCA
(4) Employment Verification letter
