H1b Trasfer before stamping while in India.

I got my H1b approved this year.
I am in India and H1b has not been stamped yet. Can I transfer to another company and then get stamped.

If yes what is the process and what should I keep in mind to avoid any problem.

Note: Currently I have L1 Visa stamped till May 2009
