New I-94 from b1 class to L2 class

Hi

I have two visas stamped in my passport B1 ,L2 . I came to US and got new -I-94 for B1-class , As i have come for assignment for one month . Now my assignment is complete , I want to get my class changed from b1 to L2 in I-94to accompany my spouse .

Can any one tell me the procedure .

1) Can i goto mexico broder with out mexico tourist visa for less than 2 hours and get new I-94
