H1B - Consulate

I am working in pune and received H1B documents from employer in US. I dont find appointment dates open in Mumbai consulate and in NewDelhi its open. In form 797B its typed as Mumbai consulate

Can i book slot in Delhi consulate as the dates are open in New Delhi consulate after selecting Maharashtra state on VFS website.

No, you will be directed to your home consulate unless you are currently working in US.
