  • H1 revoke

    Hello,

Can a consultant / employer revoke an already approved H1 petition if an employee does not join the employer ?

Can they do this without the notice of the employee ? If yes, then what are the options the employee has ?

    Thanks.

    Yes, because its employer's petition

Even if they revoke your petition, Since you are cap counted and if you have approval copy then you can transfer H1 to different employer.

On H1, in general, you must be working.

Are you sure the H1b was not a COS?

It was COS from L1 to H1.
To void the COS, so that I'm safe, I did leap frog and got a new I94 on L1B.
Now I'm working on L1 and NOT H1.

                  Embassy called after stamping..

                  Hi,

                  I need your help..
My H1B was stamped successfully some 1-months back and i was planning to fly USA in January.
But just today, i got a call from US embassy, delhi asking me not to travel on that visa and want me to appear in a week time. they didnt tell me any reason or asked for any document. Do you have any idea what could be the reason or what are the possibilities as you've also faced similar kind of problem.

                  Please reply at [email protected]

                  Thanks,
                  r
