DS-157 form Box 12 question

Hello,

Thanks for this forum and all the help it provides and would like you to help me with this question:

I'm filling out the ds-157 form, and in box 12 it asks for previous employers. Now up until i got my current job who sponsored me for H1 status, i was on F1 status and got a bachelors and masters degree. During my time in those 2 universities, i worked as a student assistant for the IT dept in one, and was a research assistant for the other university. Do i list these schools as employers for box 12?

Yes, of course. Don't they count as employers or what?

I added them as previous employers just to be on the safe side but wasn't sure if that box was asking for previous employers who sponsored me for work permit or any employer. I was pretty sure it was the latter and you confirmed it.
