H1 filed but not approved

Hello,

I filed for my H1 this year. My case was picked up in the lottery on May 15 2008.
Till not the case is pending with USCIS in Vermont. I called USCIS and they told me the same thing.
Not sure what's happening.

I some threads I've read that it's not a rule of thumb that it has to get approved before Oc 01 of that year.
Is there anyone in this type of situation ?

I am also in same kind of situation. And don know when is it going to get approved.

You have written that you called up USCIS. Could you please tell me how you got your application receipt number. And what number you called upon.

I'll also try to call on the number and put forward my case.

Ask your employer to send you a copy of form I797C.
If he sends you, you should first verify your name, your employers name and the receipt number.
The receipt number that you have now should be same as that displayed in the I797C form.
You'll thus be sure that that is your receipt number. The employers sometimes cheat their employees by giving them **** receipt number.
