Suspicious about my passport :confused: -- pls txh1b reply

Hi txh1b,

In my last thread I had mentioned that after my stamping interview, VO officer did not return my passport ,and handed me a pink slip.After doing some research on this .. I am finding that almost all of the applicants with pink slip were given back their passport.

My intitution tells me that VO forgot to return my passport after the interview, or may be he told me to collect the passport at the VFS office which I think I missed it , becoz of miscommunication.

If this is what has happened ... then does it mean that I have lost my passport ? any chances of getting my passport in this context ?

I have never heard of US Consulate losing a passport till date. Be patient. If you have plans to go to some other country and need your passport back, you can get it by emailing the consulate.
