Hi,
I am currently on L1 on my 4th year, and i am deciding to apply for H1 this year through some consultancy. Please let me know about the following questions,

1,) Is there any good consultancy(desi) which would take care of my H1b Fee processing.
2.) Suppose if my H1 gets approved, and i start working, i guess i will be nearing the 6 year max stay in US. In that case, will the consultancy bear the GC processing fee or will it come to me. Not sure how majority of consultancies work on this.
3.) Also let me know of things i should be watching while applying for H1 thru consultancies.

---- You have to pick and choose a consultancy of your choice with whom you want to work. this is based on many factors based on reputation of the firm, business dealings etc. too numerous to be listed

2.) Suppose if my H1 gets approved, and i start working, i guess i will be nearing the 6 year max stay in US. In that case, will the consultancy bear the GC processing fee or will it come to me. Not sure how majority of consultancies work on this.

---- This is purely based on the negotiations with your consultancy. There is no hard and fast rule and since you have only 2 years left, your own marketing and negotiation skills will be tested. Once again the decision is yours

3.) Also let me know of things i should be watching while applying for H1 thru consultancies.

---- As long as you pay money for H1 or the consultant charges you for H1 (irrespective of the amount) the entire process and the transactions willl be illegal. Be aware of this payment racket for your own good and if you fall prey, you face the consequences including denial of H1

---- As you are already working on L1 for the past 4 years you must know the situation, thus act accordingly
