I and my wife went to Chennai consulate for H1B and H4 stamping on Dec 29th. I am on 8th year extension of H1B and my wife status change from H1B to H4.
I am having more concern about PIMS delay because my H1B was approved in mid of 2007 and also after reading PIMS related topics in forums.
At documents verification counter, I asked about PIMS verification status. She told me that mine is cleared. Looks like all H1B petitions info are on the PIMS now.
I think no more PIMS delays.
VO asked me below questions. Before asking these questions, VO looked our previous visa stamps on passports.
1) What project you are working on currently
Ans: I am working on xx project
2) How long been working on it?
Ans: working on this project at client site since last 2 months.
3) How long been working for this company?
Ans: Have been working for xx years.
4) Can you show your recent pay stubs?
Ans: given last 6 months pay stubs
my wife: No questions asked.
VO told me that our visa’s approved and will get passports back in one week. But, we received passports on 3rd day.
If we don’t get visa for any reason, we decided to use AP’s.
