H1 visa stamping after Transfer

Hi,

I have transfered my visa to a new company 6 months back. My previous employer's Visa expires only on Dec09 (stamped with their Name). Next month I am planing to go to India. Should I want to for stamping to get it stampted with my new employer? What will happen if my old employer would have canceled my Visa? Thanks in Advance!
