Applying for Greencard without H1 stemping

Hi all,

I came here on F1 and then I have changed my status from F1 to H1. I haven't done stemping for H1 yet. My company is planning to apply for my greencard. Is it ok? (will it be a problem for stamping afterwards?) Or should I stemp my H1 first and then apply for greencard. Please do advice?

---- If you are residing in US and applying for GC, there is no need for H1 stamp. The stamp is to ensure that you can travel and in and out of US
