First time H1B stamping in Tijuana

I am going for stamping in Tijuana on Feb 26th, booked this appointment in Oct last week. I called the Tijuana consulate whether to go for H1 B stamping or not, they said to come for stamping.

This is My first H1B stamping, can u please guide me whether its safe to go mexico or Home country?

I have 797B and COS rejected as i was out of country when my H1B was applied.

Please help me ....
