Time limit for getting the stamping

Hi i got the petition and documents from the employer , but since the situation is not good in US , how long can i wait till i get the stamping and how long can i wait till i can go to US, Is there any time limit that i need to go before sometime

Anytime before the petition expires if the employment offer still holds good.
