Currently have H1B but want to work in India...

Hi,

I've done my MS in US on F1 visa and in 2008 got my H1B approved and stamped, through a consultancy who i work for. I finished my project in Oct and I am in India right now and have a very good offer from an MNC .

So , my question is can i work in india having a H1B at the sametime with my US consultancy who is also my employer (having done a couple of projects in US).

Once you are out of US soil, you do not have a H1b status. It is an active petition that you could possibly have with your employer and it does not matter. It is upto the employer to decide that.
