Hi guys,
I am on H1 since Oct 2008. I had got a tranfer from H4-H1 last year and so have never travelled outside US to get my h1 stamped. I got admission into a MS program for fall 2009. Now if I go back to India and re-enter US on F1 do I lose my H1 and will i have to go through the lottery process again after 2 years if I want to work on H1.
