  • I94 by traveling to Canada

    Hello,

I'm planning to go to Canada by flight. My stay will be for 3 days.
Did anyone get a new I94 by travelling to Canada by flight ?

    Please share your experience.

    Thank you.

Depends. Most airlines check your return flight and if booked within 30 days do not take the I-94. If they take it, you can get a new one at the airport in Canada during pre-boarding CBP inspection.

Thanks. Are you talking about the duration of the stay ?
Also, could you tell me the Airline that gives a new I94 ? I'm not sure if this is a logical question in this forum but just thought of asking it.

It is not dependent on the airline. It is the gate agent. Now, don't ask me which agent.

Yes, duration of stay less than 30 days doesn't necessarily get you a new I-94 as per the CBP rules.
