Consultant is not responding to go for visa interview

Hi,

I applied for H1b in 2008 April quota. And my application is selected in the random selection process.

From October 2008 onwards, I am trying to go for visa interview.
Consultant suggested me to go in January. And again i followed up. But his response is poor. I paid 1 lakh for the consulatncy.

What should i do now. Please suggest me.

He is not sending you because of the Economic Slowdown,please wait for some time and he might not have a project for you

I paid 1 lakh for the consulatncy.

Most H1 fees are to be paid by the employer. Any employer who takes money to file H1 is Shady. This what you expect from the Shady employer. You are better off in India than to come here and sit on their "bench".
