How to get H1 petition from US consulate?

I have my h1 petition approved but visa was not granted to me, it is in pending status.The US consulate has given me the query & asked me to submit the required documents along with my h1 petition. Meanwhile i had my h4 visa stamped. Since I want to travel to US so how can i get my H1 petition from US consulate, so that I can travel to US on h4.

You can write to them to stop the processing and return your docs if you wish to. You don't need the H1b docs to travel on H4 to US.
