What will happen to my application?

Hi

I applied for H1-COS through one small consultant last year in 2008 cycle. But till today I see my status as pending.
I was in US till end of Jan on L1 and have moved to India recently. As now next cycle is about to start, I am extremely worried about what will happen to my application. When will it get approved? what should I do for it to get approved?

Find another employer and do not pay for H1b. Lesson learned.
