Filing H1B extension from India

I m currently in India and my H1B is expiring next month i.e Apr;09..so is there anyway I can file for extension from India itself??..i.e. without travelling to US. As per my knowledge this is not possible..but still taking posting this query to figure out it at all there is any chance of my H1 extension.
