Regarding H1 status

Hi

I came to US on H4 and in 2008 i got H1 it is a cos.

Im not working now.My question is:

What incase my employer cancels my H1-B as Im not working

Will i be on H4(I have h4 until 2010).?

What shuld i do then? How can I know if my H1 gets cancelled?

If it so happens, get a COS to H4. How to know if employer revoked your H!? Ask them!

You are out of status if you aren't working and getting paid. No COS is possible within US.

As Im out of status what sholud I do now? Should i have to find a new job or

go back to India and come on H4?
