H1B stamping required

I was working with a big Indian IT company XYZ and was here in USA with them for 2.5 years. I recently joined a small company ABC that is into staffing and also have a development center in India which basically serves Indian clients.
I got my H1B transfer approved few days back and need to travel to India for some personal reason. My previous visa (from XYZ) is still valid, and I have the new approved petition too(from ABC). I am working for a client currently, and there is another Indian Vendor QWE between my employer and the client.

Do I need to go for stamping in India ? Are there any chances of getting in trouble at POE if I don't ? (because of the recessions woes, I am little extra concerned)

---- If you have a valid visa and genuine documents to prove your status (like I-797, employer's offer letter etc.) there i no need to be concerned about anything

---- Recession is about economy and job ans stuff of that nature. Visa and other matters like POE do not come into the picture. Do not complicate matters by linking all issues
