H1 Extension Stamping

Hi,

I came to US in Dec 2006 through Company A in H1 and my H1 Visa Expires on 10th October 2009. I Transfered my H1 to Company B in September 2007 and I797 of Company B expires on September 12th 2010.

Now i planned to go to india on May 20 and come back to US after a month.

My Question is , do i have to go for Stamping in India or shall i come back with the same Visa( Company A ) which is valid till 10th October 2009.

Stamping not needed, carry new approval while travelling.

Yes, you can come back. You can travel outiside US and come back as long as you have valid visa on your passort. But is always considered better approach to get the visa stamped for the current employer.
