H1 to H4 and Back to H1

Hello,

My wife got her H1-B approved recently, how ever to personal reasons she decided to go back to H-4 visa for a while.Is it possible for her to switch back to H1-B after a certain period of time, or once she changes to H4-B, will her H1 become void.Please advise.

Can switch again provided a COS amendment is approved by USCIS.
